V8 Supercar Driver
It’s not every day you meet a professional athlete that is so approachable and popular. But that’s David Reynolds! From junior go-karting, through to open-wheel Formula Ford, exotic sports cars and now V8 Supercars, David’s journey has overcome tragedy to triumph in the world’s most competitive formula of motorsport.
Reynolds’ infectious personality has earned him the tag of V8 Supercars ‘class clown’, but there’s no doubting his speed, talent, and ability to hold an audience!
In 2015 we finally saw the raw speed and talent come to the surface, with multiple podiums and wins culminating in a title chase that would eventually yield a third place championship result.
Reynolds transitioned to Erebus Motorsport in the off-season and joined the team for the Bathurst 12 Hour, where a scintillating performance alongside his co-drivers resulted in a fifth place finish in the SLS AMG GT3.
Looking ahead to the 2016 V8 Supercars season, Reynolds remains one of the sport’s hottest properties — both on and off the track. If he can retain his aggression, focus, and determination, that saw him climb to being a title contender in 2015, there is no doubt he can snare some unexpected silverware for Erebus Motorsport in the #9 entry.
