Regional Services Delivery Director, Asia Pacific
Matthew Horwood is based in Australia at the Tait Communication’s Brisbane office and leads the company’s team of sales and systems engineers, project managers and support staff located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Singapore offices. He has significant experience in the delivery of managed services and ICT projects to key accounts and has worked in senior ICT leadership roles for over 20 years. As an ICT Executive with both a delivery focus and P&L responsibilities including business development, Matthew has a proven track record of managing and motivating his teams to consistently meet client expectations, and has extensive experience in delivering mission-critical ICT services to customers.
During his career he has worked across a number of specialisations including account management, service delivery and program management. He is currently responsible for leading the Tait Services Team in Asia Pacific for the design, deployment, support and management of critical communication solutions for Tait’s Asia Pacific clients.
In his previous account management role at Tech Mahindra, Matthew had been responsible for the delivery of critical ICT managed services to the Virgin Australia group and before that had spent 10 years with Unisys as a client account executive with the primary responsibility of ensuring that the Unisys outsourced ICT services met and supported the business of an extensive range of customers. Prior to these positions, Matthew had been the services manager for Deloitte’s outsourced contract with Telstra establishing and leading an ITIL-based service transformation program for the engagement. This followed his work with Accenture in senior application support and project roles.
In the UK, Matthew held positions in a number of major British Telecom communications and systems integration projects after starting his ICT career in infrastructure support for HM Treasury.
