Anton is the current chairman of the Australasian TETRA Forum. He has more than 35 years’ experience in the mobile radio industry and in his earlier stage of his working life he spent some 15 years with Philips in Australia, UK and Asia, based in Singapore and Hong Kong as Regional Director for Philips Telecommunications and Data System’s mobile radio division in Asia. Then he spent some 6 years in India for Telecom Australia (Telstra) as Regional Manager Asia South, instrumental in the implementation of India’s first GSM network (Modi/Telstra) and VSAT services.
Murray has more than 25 years of experience in advanced telecommunications and the application of operational technologies into the natural resources sector. Ranging from the design, implementation and strategic review of WAN/LAN networks, digital radio, radiofrequency materials and asset tracking, microwave, satellite, industrial wireless mesh for autonomous operations and enterprise LTE networks in support of the exploration and production activities of international mining and oil & gas companies. Murray’s ability to observe, review and understand complex project and technical ICT complexities quickly, combined with his ability to communicate well with business people at all levels, enables him to understand their needs, plans and problems and to translate these into valid practical technology solutions.
These abilities learnt over many years of experience in both the oil & gas and mining industries have enabled Murray to build a large practice of like consultants and engineers working for the world’s largest natural resource customers. Murray has a proven record of accomplishment of addressing complex client requirements and delivering effective communications and IT systems safely in the harshest and most challenging environments, from mine sites in the remote tropical jungles of Borneo to oil & gas production facilities in Iraq.
