Ranjan Bhagat is currently Brisbane-based Zetron Australasia’s General Manager and Vice President and has successfully led Zetron’s efforts to provide cutting-edge, mission-critical command and control systems for markets in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. Ranjan began his career at Zetron in Redmond, USA, in 2001 and has over 20 years’ global senior executive experience in the mission-critical communications industry focused on providing wireless communications, mobile broadband and secure information technology solutions to the public safety, rail, aviation, transport, oil, gas, mining, utilities and local government markets. Prior to joining Zetron, Ranjan held senior technology and business leadership positions both in mature and start-up businesses. Ranjan’s seasoned ‘East-meets-West acumen’ is a result of having a practical understanding of global markets having managed businesses in three different continents. Ranjan has a B.S.E.E. degree and in 1988 also received an M.S.E.E. degree from Washington State University, USA.
