AMTA RF Safety Program Manager
Tony has invested over 20 years in the deployment of infrastructure across the property, transport, government, information technology and telecommunications sectors. He commenced his career as a surveyor on civil engineering and property projects and moving to project management in property and development businesses. In the mid 90’s he was recruited into Telstra as construction manager for its mobile network rollouts. Moving to program manager, he managed the end to end process of the field deployment of Telstra’s wireless networks in NSW.
In 2000, Tony embarked on his consulting career establishing PicoNet Consulting to specialise in program and asset risk in the infrastructure and telecommunications industries. PicoNet’s services include risk management, project planning and development in large infrastructure bids, implementation projects and acquisitions for clients such as major national, regional and global brands in infrastructure, telecommunications and investment in the Asia Pacific region.
One such role is in managing the RF Safety Program of AMTA and the Mobile Carriers Forum for process documentation and IT systems developments for the National Safety Database over the last 10 years.
