Launched by the National Emergency Communications Working Group – Australia and New Zealand (NECWG-A/NZ) in 2014, the Next Generation Triple Zero (NG000) strategy has helped focus the public safety sector on what the future of the Emergency Call Service should look like. Governments, emergency service organisations and vendor/service providers have each responded to the strategy, framing their outlooks on delivering an effective Triple Zero (000) service that meets community expectations.

Much discussion has taken place since the NG000 launch. That discussion is now turning into action. This session will provide an overview on what is being implemented and what is being planned, that will improve emergency first response capability through the availability of and easy access to, contemporary and emerging technologies.
