Donald Harriss is an Information Technology Security Specialist for the Communications Technology Laboratory (CTL), Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST), in Boulder, Colorado, U.S.A. Donald’s background is in networking and communications. At PSCR, Donald is researching the cybersecurity implications of the Internet of Things (IoT) for public safety and first response. He is also a subject matter expert for PSCR’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) programs. Donald is an architect of the PSCR Core test network consisting of state-of-the-art LTE and 5G networks used in Public Safety networks.
