Michael Kiernan is the OnStar Emergency Services Partnerships Manager at General Motors International based in Melbourne, Australia. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining close working partnerships with emergency services and public safety answer points in Australia/New Zealand, Korea and the Middle East. Michael’s role is to ensure that OnStar is working with emergency services to deliver an exceptional customer experience to all OnStar Subscribers in General Motors’ international markets.
Michael is an Executive MBA and Master of Commerce qualified professional with more than 25 years’ experience in emergency services and telecommunications, change management, quality assurance, project management, investigations, operational business continuity and continuous improvement.
Michael has held senior roles, and managed and mentored high- performing teams in organisations including Victoria Police, the Victorian Department of Justice and the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority.
